Greed is what america has become, greed got this country into the shape its in and only letting go fo the greed will get us out. Its sad to live in a country where a dollar is more valuable then a life, they repossessed my moms grave stone because I couldn't pay for it fast enough.. Soooooooooo sad they even repossess graves, I wonder one day when we stand before God what will all the greeders say to him oh sorry lord I was too daggum greedy to care about your or your sheep, and these rich people wanna throw big dinner parties spend 3 and 4 hundered on shoes but cry like a baby if they are asked to pay more taxes, they want the poor and middle class to suffer so they can live like fake kings and queens they think they are...No wonder the world hates america look at us the land of the greed...
I do need help getting back my moms tomb stone, I only get soc sec because of a heart attack, and was tryin to pay off her stone, I owe 972.00 on it yet, which I can prove.... And they repossessed her stone can u believe that? Its sad we live in a country so full of greed and thats why our country is in the shape its in, the dollar means more then a life does.
in response to Schmidty...Im not tryin to be cruel to anyone, Ill help anyone, the person I helped I gave money too later to find out they lived in a rich nieghbor hood and was usin people it makes u gun shy. But I don't see how someone with kids could live on the street, I use to work for DHS they take kids for that, but they will help put u in a home if u have kids, sometimes u have to be tough to get people to listen. But I feel for this person, and tryin to make him see he can get help and not live on the streets

in response to pepermint patty...most of those so called cd u have to buy to apply of grants and gov money is a rip off, they do not give money to pay bills, and you can look up with they have free without that cd, just go to federalgov.com/grants. But that cd is nothin but a rip off all the do is list what u can look at for free.
in response to momof3fl...there is a sight whom may be able to help you they helped me and my mom before she died, its called the sunshine lady foundation, when u go there it only looks like they help with education,but send them a email and someone will contact you. Don't tell them u was refered to them, they do not take referals, but they paid our rent and propane for one year.
in response to momof3fl...I do understand where u are comin from, here lately I have morons callin me pretendin they are from some pay day loan place and if I don't pay back 4 grand I will be arrested, for one pay day loan places don't loan that kind of money and 2 u cannot be arrested for a bill, these people stop at nothin to steal from others, and I worked one time in the welfare office, a black family came in to get food stamps, then another but with the same address, so we investigated it, there was 3 families livin in one house and drawin on each other, gettin over 2 grand amonth in food stamps, this makes it hard to trust the next person. And I understand state pay Ive been there, they don't pay crap.
in response to SHARONDUONG23...you should be able to get cash assistance as well with childern, and check with community action centers they have a once amonth food program. Not sure what state your from but each state is different...

But this country will help others before they take care of they're own. We just need a whole new gov and things might get back to the how the system is suppose to be...
with 4 kids and livin on the street, you can get emergency help thru the welfare to get a place to live, and food stamps and even help with daycare, if not the state could step in and take your kids away from you, how do u use a computer if your living on the streets???
My heart goes out to you, and I fully understand your concern, seems once you guys come home from risking your lives the gov could give a rats butt about you guys, its sad but true, our gov is the most selfish greedy system in the world, who only cares about savin they're own butts.

as long as you have kids you can get food stamps which Im sure you are already getting. Its hard to help anyone anymore, too much scams goin on, fake loans now scammers are callin people upsetting them into thinking they will get arrested if they do not pay back a loan they never had, somehow they have gotton software to get into payday loan sights and get info even if you was rejected these morons will make it sound as if they are the police, first of all u cannot be arrested for a loan so I do not trust anyone, but I do know u can and should be gettin food stamps you don;t need money for food

in response to Barbie1637...Im sorry about what is happening, but if you owe the Fed gov they can take whatever they want the only thing they cannot take is all your soc sec check but they can get a percentage of it, thats the new law. But as far as taxes they can take ever cent u have and then some. U need to get a tax lawyer and as for rent you can check with social services they usually are good with emergencies and check with your local churches as well. Also if u have a computer theres a sight that also helps its called the sunshine lady foundation, when u get to the sight u will think its only for education, but write them an email in the contact us, and explain your situation, they helped me and my mother with our rent and propane 2 yrs ago, but DO NOT tell them I refered you they do not take referels hoep this helps...
This can be very stressful I did for 11 years, I don;t know about calif but here the state pays you for takin care of the sick at home. My mom was my life til I lost her a year ago due to a nurse givin her meds she was told not too. Theres a sight u can go to its called the Sunshine Lady Foundation, don't be discouraged when u go there cause it looks as if they only help with education, but I took a chance and wrote them they paid my rent up and paid my propane for one winter, it was a freat help, but don't tell them someone sent u to them cause thats one thing they do tell ya they do not take referels if u write them u found them on your own. I know what your going thru and my heart goes out to you. You are your familys angel but still even angels get burned out from time to time, u need to breath as well. Try to get help with lettin you just get away for a day and re group your mind and thoughts it sure does help.
